Directory for Services for the Deaf in Texas

2008-2009

This directory information is arranged according to geographic areas or regions within the state. Included in the directory is a list of staff in the Texas Education Agency's Division of Deaf Services and a list of Education Service Centers (ESCs) which provide technical assistance related to the education of students who are deaf or hard of hearing. At the end of this directory, a list of frequently called numbers is given.

A list of districts/fiscal agents that serve students who are referred by an admission, review and dismissal (ARD) or individualized family service plan (IFSP) committee to the Regional Day School Program for the Deaf (RDSPD) is included below. The RDSPD is a public school program which is operated through 59 fiscal agent districts across the state. Students served by the RDSPD come from 500+ local school districts.
