The purpose of this program is to support the planning and implementation of ECHS’s created through a partnership between an IHE and an independent school district (ISD). Each ECHS will target and enroll students at risk of dropping out of school, and provide rigorous curriculum and instruction allowing students to earn their high school diploma and 60 credit hours toward either an associate’s degree or a baccalaureate degree at no cost to the student.
