The purpose of this strand is to build capacity to participate in the TxVSN and provide students opportunities to take online courses through the network. Teachers planning to teach online courses over the network must complete approved professional development on how to teach online. Applicants may wish to become a provider district and provide electronic courses through the TxVSN to students in that district or students enrolled in another district or school. Applicants may wish to enroll students in online courses provided through the network.
