Performance-Based Monitoring
-> PBMAS - Downloadable Data

Downloadable data files are intended for use by technical users. The files provide the data used to generate district and charter school performance levels as reported on PBMAS Summary Reports for each monitoring year.

For specific explanations regarding the determination of each indicator's performance level, refer to the appropriate PBMAS Manual.

For an explanation of how data is masked, please refer to our Masking Rules document.

Data dictionaries are provided to describe the data. Each dictionary provides a list of the variable names, labels, and attributes used for each of the appropriate monitoring year's data. Please review these tools as you download the data.

Note: Beginning with the 2010 PBMAS, data downloads for the current year will no longer include previous years' data unless those previous years' data have changed.

1. Please select monitoring year:

2. What type of PBMAS data file would you like to download?   Please note these data have been masked in order to comply with the Family Educational Rights and Privacy Act (FERPA).

      A. How do you wish to search?

(partial or full name)

When entering the district name, do not include the type of district (ISD, CISD). For example, enter Nacogdoches, not Nacogdoches ISD. Do not use commas, apostrophes, periods or other symbols when entering text, as this may result in an error.

4. Select your preferred file type:

Due to the large amount of data, it is not possible to download all districts in a single Excel file. If you would like all district data, please use one of the other formats which can later be imported into Excel.
