John Student is a student newly immigrated to the United States from Mexico. He has been determined to be Limited English Proficient (LEP). John is in the 5th grade at campus 101 in Learning ISD. John’s older sister Jane, has also been determined to be LEP. Jane is in the 9th grade and campus 001 at Learning ISD. John has been placed in the bilingual “Dual Language Immersion/two way” special language program. Jane has been placed in the “English as a Second Language/content based” special language program. The enrollment information for John and Jane would be reported as follows.

BILINGUAL-PROGRAM TYPE CODE 3 indicates that John was placed in the dual language immersion/two way special language program.

PK-PROGRAM-TYPE-CODE 00 indicates that neither John nor Jane are enrolled in a PK program.

AT-RISK-INDICATOR-CODE 1 indicates that John and Jane have been determined to be at risk of dropping out of school.

GIFTED-TALENTED-INDICATOR-CODE 0 indicates that John and Jane do not participate in the gifted and talented program.

DYLEXIA-INDICATOR-CODE 0 indicates John and Jane have not been identified has having dyslexia.

TITLE-I-PART-A-INDICATOR-CODE 0 indicates that John and Jane do not participate in the Title 1 Part A program.

SPECIAL-ED-INDICATOR-CODE 0 indicates that John and Jane do not participate in the special education program.

PRIMARY-PK-FUNDING-SOURCE-CODE is blank because neither John nor Jane are not enrolled in a PK program.

SECONDARY-PK-FUNDING-SOURCE-CODE is blank because neither John nor Jane are not enrolled in a PK program.
