The major function of the Division of Program Monitoring and Interventions is
to support the accomplishment of the state’s goals for public education by
reviewing, monitoring, acknowledging, sanctioning, and intervening in school
districts and campuses to ensure excellence in education for all students. The
major areas of responsibility currently in the Division of Program Monitoring
and Interventions are:

accountability monitoring and interventions;
-
program monitoring and interventions, including data validation monitoring and
investigation; and
-
administration of certain court orders and/or consent decrees, including those related to
Civil Action 5281 and the RF Monitoring system.
