Data Collection

The 2009-2010 data collection period is July 1, 2009 to June 30, 2010. All students, ages 3-21, who were evaluated, had their eligibility determined and had an IEP developed between July 1, 2009 and June 30, 2010 should be reported. Indicator 11 refers to “initial” eligibility determinations made for students ages 3-21.

All diusrcts are required to report data into application SPP 11 by accessing TEASE at https://seguin.tea.state.tx.us/apps/logon.asp.

The LEA Certifier is responsible for assuring that the data is accurate and therefore, must be knowledgeable of the process. The district data entry agent and LEA certifier will enter district data collectively when necessary. Once entered and complete, the LEA certifier will certify the data. Every district must have a complete and certified status regardless of whether the district has no data to enter. If a district has no data to enter a zero should be entered into the application before the data collection is certified.
