Objective | Effective general supervision of the implementation of Individuals with Disabilities Education Act (IDEA) is ensured through the State’s development and utilization of mechanisms and activities, in a coordinated system, that results in all eligible children with disabilities having an opportunity to receive a free appropriate public education (FAPE) in the least restrictive environment (LRE).
Result 1
The state has a supervision system that addresses deficiencies/areas of noncompliance and ensures correction in a timely manner.
Result 2
The complaint resolution system meets the federal requirements.
Result 3
The complaints system is easily understood, efficient, and effective.
