TO THE ADMINISTRATOR ADDRESSED:

 

This letter serves as notice that the Title I Statewide School Support and Parental Involvement Initiative (Initiative) housed at Region XVI Education Service Center (ESC) in Amarillo, Texas, is the sole source provider through December 31, 2012, for the following No Child Left Behind (NCLB) Act parental involvement documents on behalf of the Federal and State Education Policy Division at the Texas Education Agency (TEA).

·         Developing A Written Parental Involvement Policy

·         ISPY Manual

 

These TEA copyrighted documents are available at www.esc16.net, scroll down and click on Statewide Title I Initiative and then click on publications then sole source letter.  These documents were developed in coordination with and on behalf of the Texas Education Agency through funding provided to Region XVI to facilitate purchase of TEA copyrighted materials created under contract between TEA and the Initiative at Region XVI ESC. TEA grants to Region XVI ESC on a revocable, nontransferable, nonassignable, and non-exclusive basis the right to reproduce and distribute at cost in Texas works created in the referenced NOGA and SAS, or in an approved Initiative Action Plan only for the Limited Use described in the subject NOGA and SAS, or approved Initiative Action Plan. TEA has decided that for the time being, subject to TEA’s sole determination, that there is no other program in Texas that will provide these documents.
