February 11, 2011 SUBJECT: High School Allotment Exceptional Uses Nominations In accordance with the Texas Education Code §39.233(a)(3), the commissioner of education shall annually select for recognition those school districts and campuses that offer exceptional high school completion and success and college readiness programs that are implemented with high school allotment funds. To identify districts and campuses for this recognition, the High School Allotment Advisory Group has recommended the following guidelines and selection criteria be used. To Be Nominated: Districts may self-nominate either the district or a campus within the district by completing the attached form for submission by Monday, March 4, 2011. Districts selected last year may self-nominate again this year. Districts must nominate themselves to compete in one of the following categories:
To Be Selected: Nominees representing large, medium and small districts will be reviewed and evaluated based on the quality of their responses on the Nomination/Selection form powered by SurveyMonkey at the following link: https://www.surveymonkey.com/s/7BGZCMM. To be eligible, forms must be submitted online by Monday, March 4, 2011.
