TO THE ADMINISTRATOR ADDRESSED:
Enclosed is the final evaluation form for the Reading Academies funding for Round 1 (Year 1 and Year 2). This evaluation should summarize the information that has been submitted during the entire project period as well as the information required by the evaluation component in the RFA. This evaluation form can be obtained from the TEA website at www.tea.state.tx.us/curriculum. The completed form may be sent by email to curric@tea.state.tx.us with a hard copy mailed to: Geraldine Kidwell, Texas Education Agency, 1701 N. Congress Avenue, Austin, Texas 78701-1494. Information gained from this evaluation will be used to substantiate the impact that the grant has had on the students served and the professional staff that implemented the reading instruction. It will also address the parent component as an aspect of the total reading support system for the developing student.
The completed evaluation is due no later than October 15, 2000. We apologize for the short turn-around time and for the delay in getting this evaluation form to you. We will contact your district liaison if additional information or clarification of the completed evaluation is required.
