September 30, 2010 SUBJECT: Significant Expansion of Enrollment—2010-2011 TO THE ADMINISTRATOR ADDRESSED: Open-enrollment charter schools that meet significant expansion of enrollment criteria may be eligible to generate additional funding for applicable No Child Left Behind (NCLB) federal programs for which the charter school is currently participating in the 2010-2011 school year. Open-enrollment charter schools that meet the above criteria and would like to report their most recent enrollment data demonstrating expansion should email the Division of Formula Funding at formulafunds@tea.state.tx.us. The email should include the open-enrollment charter school name, county-district number, and a statement requesting that the charter school’s 2010-2011 SC5010 NCLB Data Request Form for Federal Funding be reopened in eGrants. The eGrants deadline for reporting significant expansion of enrollment expires January 31, 2011 at 5:00 p.m. Central Time. Open-enrollment charter schools that meet criteria, and submit and certify to their significant expansion of enrollment via their reopened 2010-2011 SC5010 NCLB Data Request Form for Federal Funding:
