TO THE ADMINISTRATOR ADDRESSED:

SUBJECT: Implementation of New Phone Menu Box for Information Systems

In order to provide better customer service, we have implemented a new phone menu box to our Customer Assistance (formerly Information Systems Help Desk) phone line at 512-463-9800.

Effective September 11, 2000, when you call 512-463-9800 you will hear a menu box of 5 options. The following describes each option. (NOTE: options 1 & 3 pertain to TEA Staff only.)

1) If you are a TEA employee and you would like to speak to someone about a computer hardware/software problem, please Press 1

2) If you need your password reset, Press 2

3) If you are a TEA employee and you need assistance with a Microsoft Application such as Word, Excel, Access or PowerPoint, Press 3

4) For TEA Application support or to speak to a customer representative, Press 4

5) If you would like to repeat these menu options, Press *

Please share this information with any of your staff who may need to utilize these services. We appreciate your patience as we work toward changes that we hope will be beneficial to you.
