May 2, 2001 Dear School District/Charter School, The Texas Education Agency is planning to discontinue the Interactive Voice Response (IVR) system. All of the information and functionality provided by IVR is now available on the agency's website. The Texas Comptroller's Office also offers an option allowing vendors to receive payment information by fax report through their telephone voice response system (VRS). We have included detailed instructions on accessing both the information on the TEA website and the Comptroller's telephone voice response system in order to better guide you through the processes. The last day of operation for the Interactive Voice Response system is scheduled for August 31, 2001. Our records show that you have used the IVR system in the past year. While we are trying to achieve this goal, we do not want to impair our services to you and would like to know the impact this may have on your operations. Therefore, your response to this letter is very important to us in determining how to address any needs that you may have. Please respond by either contacting Agency Accounting at (512) 463-9006, using the Texas Education Agency's e-mail address at payment@tea.state.tx.us or mail responses to:
Please respond to us as soon as possible in order for us to
address your needs before the planned removal of this system. Thank
you for your interest in this matter. Sincerely, |
