TO THE ADMINISTRATOR ADDRESSED:
This letter is to inform you that the Texas Education Agency (TEA) has forwarded copies of the 2000-2001 Application for Approval of Funding for Residential Placement (SAS-A111-01) to your regional education service center (ESC). If your district or special education shared services arrangement (SSA) would like a copy of the application and instructions, a packet can be obtained from your ESC special education contact. Should any students in your district or SSA require residential placement during the 2000-2001 school year, an original and one copy of this application must be submitted to the ESC for each student placed residentially. The ESC will then conduct an initial review of the residential application prior to forwarding it to the TEA for final review.
