April 27, 2000 TO THE ADMINISTRATOR ADDRESSED: SUBJECT: Title II, Part B-Eisenhower Professional Development Program Section 2401(b) of Public Law 103-382 requires the evaluation of the Title II, Part Bū Dwight D. Eisenhower Professional Development Program funded through the Division of Student Support Programs Standard Application System. The attached 1999-2000 Title II, Part B annual program evaluation report (SSP-019R00) must be completed and returned no later than August 15, 2000. All report data pertain only to those specific services or programs provided through the use of Eisenhower formula entitlement funds and local education agency (LEA) cost share funds during the year beginning July 1, 1999, and ending June 30, 2000. The recipient of Eisenhower formula entitlement funds (either the LEA which conducts its own project or the fiscal agent which administers a shared services arrangement) is responsible for submitting the completed annual evaluation report to the Texas Education Agency by August 15, 2000. Failure to submit this report by the August 15, 2000, deadline will interrupt the flow of Eisenhower cash payments to the LEA. Please read and follow the specific instructions for each part and do not leave any questions blank on the report. Instructions and definitions for use in completing the report are included in this packet. All parts of the report must include private nonprofit school participation data.
