The Texas Education Agency (TEA) is pleased to announce the following districts and charters have been preliminarily selected to receive a grant for the Technology Activities in Connection with School Repair and Renovation. This preliminary selection was made after evaluation by agency staff and management as well as professionals from outside the agency.

Agency staff will thoroughly review each application to determine that it is in compliance with all applicable program statutes, rules, and regulations and that the identified program goals and activities meet the intent of the authorizing legislation and Request for Application. Once this determination has been made and it is confirmed that the application is indeed eligible to be funded, Agency staff may be contacting the designated program contact person to negotiate changes to the application. If it is determined the application is not eligible to be funded, you will be notified of the ineligibility and the TEA will not be responsible for payment for any expenditures incurred by the applicant.

Please be advised that any activities or line items deleted during negotiations will not be reimbursable under the grant and must be paid from other sources if the activities or expenditures occurred prior to finalizing the application. Also please be advised that TEA does not give verbal approval for any activities or expenditures. The approved Notice of Grant Award (NOGA) and approved application will be mailed to you as soon as negotiations and the approval process are complete.

In the event that negotiations of an eligible application cannot be concluded to the satisfaction of both agencies, paragraph G of Schedule #6A--Provisions and Assurances of the Standard Application System shall apply. The monetary value of services properly performed by the contractor/grantee pursuant to the conditions of the contract/grant shall be determined by the TEA and paid to the contractor/grantee as soon as reasonably possible.
