  Textbook Credit Pilot Project

House Bill 623, 77th Legislature, requires the Texas Education Agency to study the use of credits for textbooks.  The program is designed to allow a participating school district or open-enrollment charter school to receive credit for selecting textbooks priced below the state maximum cost established by the State Board of Education.
