PEIMS Data Standards 169 STUDENT DATA - CAREER AND TECHNICAL EDUCATION (CTE) PROGRAM

Jake Student (111110000), Jane Learner (222220000), and Ima Student (33330000) are served through the Career and Technical Education program of Learning ISD.

Jane is a single parent, economically disadvantaged, and rides a school bus to and from her job for her related Career and Technical Education Building Trades II course.

Ima is pregnant and is enrolled in an “Individual and Family Life” course and lives in her mother’s house where she cares for the family. Until recently, Ima’s mother was working a full time job to support the family. Ima’s mother is now disabled and unable to work outside of the home. Ima is not employed and still cares for the family.

Displaced-Homemaker-Code 1 indicates that Ima is a Displaced Homemaker since she is unemployed, is no longer supported by a family member, and continues to care for the family at home.

SGL-PARENT-PREG-TEEN-CODE 2 indicates that Jane is a single parent enrolled in a Career and Technical Education course.

SGL-PARENT-PREG-TEEN-CODE 7 indicates that Ima is a pregnant teenager enrolled in a Career and Technical Education course.

TRANSPORTATION- CTE-SUPPORT-SERVICE 1 indicates that Jane is economically disadvantaged and receives this transportation service so that she can continue her Career and Technical Education curriculum.
