Maximum Entitlements
Maximum entitlements for programs included in the 2009-2011 Special Education ARRA/Stimulus Grant Application will be available on or around April 29, 2010. This is the maximum amount of funding grantees will receive for the Special Education ARRA/Stimulus Grant Application. There will not be any additional funding in the 2010-2011 school year.
Maximum entitlement amounts for 2009-2011 Special Education ARRA/Stimulus Grant Application will be available online at http://ritter.tea.state.tx.us/opge/formfund/generalinformation/entitlementsbyprogram.html.
Amendments
Local Educational Agencies (LEAs) must amend their 2009-2011 Special Education ARRA/Stimulus Grant Application to incorporate maximum entitlement funding. Please refer to the 2009-2011 eGrants Schedule of Instructions for this application for more information regarding amendments.
The deadline to submit amendments is 5:00 p.m. Central Time, July 1, 2011.
Reporting Deadlines
The following table lists reporting deadlines for the 2009-2011 Special Education ARRA/Stimulus Grant Application. LEAs that are awarded grants are responsible for meeting all required deadlines. Failure to meet deadlines may result in loss of funds and could cause the LEA to be identified as “high risk.”
