TO THE ADMINISTRATOR ADDRESSED:

SUBJECT:  Announcement of TEASE Application for the Division of NCLB Program Coordination

The purpose of this letter is to notify local education agencies (LEAs) of the new Texas Education Agency Secure Environment (TEASE) application for the Division of NCLB Program Coordination which will be implemented to disseminate secure information.

While there are no reports posted on the automated system at this time; once the application is available, reports such as the Annual Measurable Achievement Objectives (AMAOs) and Random Validation reports will be posted at this site.  In previous years, the AMAO reports were disseminated via the Performance-Based Monitoring (PBM) tab within the TEASE Accountability application.  The 2009 AMAO reports will now be available through TEASE under the new NCLB Reports Application link, which is not part of the TEASE Accountability application and will require users to obtain new access as described below.  It is anticipated that these reports will be available using the new system sometime in October 2009.  Therefore, it is very important that LEAs complete the steps described below as soon as possible to ensure they will have the necessary access once the information is posted.

If a user does not have access to a TEASE login, one must first establish access to the TEASE application by requesting access online at https://seguin.tea.state.tx.us/appsng/um/apply.aspx

If a user currently has access to a TEASE login and needs to request to add the NCLB Reports Application, log on to TEASE at https://seguin.tea.state.tx.us/apps/logon.asp and select the “Add/Modify Application Access” button located on the top right of the Application List page.  Select NCLB Reports Application from the drop-down list and follow the instructions.  Allow approximately 10 business days for access to be granted.

If you have questions contact Ms. Didi Garcia in the Division of NCLB Program Coordination at didi.garcia@tea.state.tx.us or via telephone at (512) 463-9374.

Sincerely,

Cory Green, Senior Director
Division of NCLB Program Coordination
