January 23, 2007 TO THE ADMINISTRATOR ADDRESSED: Subject: 2006-2007 Technology Payment A report indicating the district’s estimated technology allotment for the 2006-2007 school year and the adjusting “settle-up” amount for the 2005-2006 school year has been updated on the district’s 2006-2007 Summary of Finances that is available on our website. The link for this report is at http://www.tea.state.tx.us/school.finance/funding/sofweb7.html. Please scroll to the bottom of the report to view the information on the technology allotment. The adjusted allotment will be sent to your district’s depository in the near future. Please keep in mind that this payment is based on the estimated Total Refined ADA indicated on the LPE side of your 2006-2007 Summary of Finances. Another “settle-up” will occur next year when 2006-2007 final ADA is known. Please note that, based on the $115,000,000 appropriation available at this time, the district’s actual technology payment for 2006-2007 has been computed using $26.904 per ADA, instead of $26.76 per ADA as estimated in August 2006.
