203 STUDENT - SCHOOL LEAVER AND GRADUATION PROGRAM

For the Submission 1 (Fall), Learning High School (002) in Learning ISD (999-999) has identified 6 students as school leavers from the previous school year. The following situations exist for the 6 students:

Billy Student was enrolled for the entire previous school year and did not return to enrollment during the school start window in the current school year. It was determined that Billy completed his GED during the summer break before August 31.

Susie Student was enrolled through the fifth six week reporting period and moved to another school district to finish the school year. I was determined that Susie continued enrollment in the new school district for the current during the current school year and was enrolled during the school start window.

Jack Student was expelled from Learning ISD High School during on the last day of school of the prior school year for a mandatory expellable offense for a period of 90 days for the current school year. Jack did not enroll in school in the current school year until the beginning of the second semester.

Carol Student enrolled at the beginning of the previous school year and was withdrawn by the Learning ISD when it was determined that she was not eligible to enroll in the school district because of an ineligible residence.

Todd Student was enrolled for the entire previous school year and did not return to enrollment during the current school year school start window. Learning ISD has no information regarding where Todd has gone.

Mary Student is the dependent of a United States Military personnel member on Active Duty and moved to Learning ISD as a senior in the previous school year from the state of Georgia. At the end of the prior school year, Mary had not met all of the requirements to graduate from a Texas public school. Mary’s parents determined that with the work she had completed at Learning ISD would qualify her to graduate from her prior school in Georgia. Mary graduated and received a high school diploma from her former high school in Georgia.

Learning ISD High School would report school leaver information for the above students in the following manner. Note: It is assumed that, when required, Learning High School has acquired all of the required documentation to report or not report each student’s leaver situation.
